Student Worker Application

Calling all collegiate trombonists!  The ITF needs YOU!

Have you ever wondered how an International Trombone Festival works?  Who takes care of equipment, tickets, programs, set-up, and all the other moving parts at an ITF?

It’s YOU!  Collegiate trombone students from around the US (and the world) gather at the ITF each summer to form our TEAM OF STUDENT WORKERS!

Benefits of being a STUDENT WORKER:

FREE registration, FREE housing, and a (modest) per diem for food.

PLUS, you’ll have the opportunity to work with artists, exhibitors, and presenters from around the world, and to make friends with other trombonists your age!

and…IT’S FUN!

Please note: The ITF does not provide airfare or other transportation to Iowa City or the ITF.  Student workers must be available from Sunday, July 8-Sunday, July 15.  No partial work assignments are available.  Student workers are housed in university dorms, double occupancy.  Single occupancy housing options are not available.

Student workers must be age 18 or older as of July 8, 2018.

Application form: ITF Student Worker Form 2018

Please note: A letter of recommendation from your primary trombone teacher is required.

APPLICATIONS DUE FEB. 16, 2018, but will continue to be accepted as long as positions are available.
