Congratulations to the composers who have been selected for the 2018 Composers Workshop at the ITF!
These artists will work directly with master composer Eric Ewazen in a schedule of master classes, private lessons, workshops, and rehearsals throughout the Festival week, and their works, chosen by the ITF selection committee, will be featured in a finale concert at 5pm on Saturday!
The ITF is honored to lead the trombone community worldwide in championing new works for the trombone. We are thrilled have the opportunity to bring composers from around the globe to the 2018 Festival in Iowa, and to present their work on a world-class stage, in a concert of cutting-edge, brand-new trombone music!
