Update: As of June 7, 2021, THE ITF IS OPEN FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE! Based on the improving health situation in Georgia and the US, the ITF has been cleared to open attendance to all vaccinated adults, and a limited number of vaccinated youth (priority will be given to those already registered for the online workshop)! We are thrilled to be back on-ground, and hope to see as many of you in Columbus as possible! In order to proceed under the safest possible circumstances, all performers and attendees must show proof of vaccination (completed at least two weeks prior to the start of the Festival).
ITF SOCIAL DISTANCING POLICIES
-Proof of full vaccination (completed at least two weeks prior to the start of the ITF) is required for all attendees and performers, and must be submitted in advance (see form below).
-Given that the ITF will be a fully-vaccinated event, masking, bell covers, and/or social distancing will not be required.
–Individuals are free to take specific precautions that they deem necessary, including wearing a mask.
-It is recommended that all performers and attendees bring a mask for travel purposes, and/or for off-campus venues, which may still require masking.
ITF Staff respectfully requests that all performers and attendees comply with local and national health guidelines, regarding masking and social distancing. Although we anticipate a fully-vaccinated event, and a (somewhat) “normal” ITF, guidelines can always change, as health conditions around the world continue to evolve. Should mask mandates be reinstated, we’ll all need to be ready to meet that challenge as a team. We also ask for your continued understanding and flexibility, as we prepare to once again gather, and celebrate all things trombone!
We understand that some individuals may prefer not to be vaccinated, and we respect this as a form of personal choice; however, in order to remain in compliance with the agreements we have made with our host institution, and to ensure the safety of all attendees, we cannot make exceptions to the vaccination policy.
If you are registered to attend or perform at the ITF in-person, please upload a copy of your COVID-19 vaccination card, using this form: COVID VACCINATION FORM
